Makes sense. Cars nowadays have a plethora of sensors that can be used to spy on adversaries, even without its owners knowing. China has done the same with Tesla vehicles. There are huge areas near military installations where a Tesla can’t go.

I get that military precautions are a thing. But do these things actually transmit data back to China? Shouldn’t that be impossible in the first place?

Which is sending more data back to its maker, the Chinese EVs or the F-35s?

I believe many Teslas were made in China, and stacks of other vehicles.

Really not sure how they´ll enfore this and I imagine smart glasses are a greater risk these days

Maybe I’m too old but how is a car connected to the Internet? Through drivers phone?

So are they giant pagers waiting to explode at the push of a button in China?

    7. >The restrictions do not apply to publicly accessible military locations such as hospitals, clinics, libraries, prosecutors‘ offices or garrison clubs, the army said.

      Why not?

You dont think knowing which officer is sick and has chronic health issues isnt a security risk? A spy would find those who are more likely to die from a chronic illness and ask if they want money for their family. All they would need to do is provide some small information.

Or you dont think knowing which officers socialize at which clubs isnt a security risk? A spy would use those places to socialize with officers.

In my opinion, they left out the most important areas.

A car in the parking lot of a military compound tells me nothing. An officer that needs to go to the clinic every 2 weeks tell me a lot.

Very smart move. Poland is on the ball for sure and must be expecting war soon. China supports Russia in Ukraine.
