~~Americans~~People in general believe Epstein files show the powerful get a pass, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds

  2. I mean beyond Epstein files we see many examples they get a pass just seeing how Pam Bondi operates.

The problem is the current government is all in the files so no one will hold them accountable. Isn’t this when the French go on strike?

This isn’t a ghost or UFO – it’s literally the news in front of our damn eyes – Americans are watching the powerful get a pass for the worst crimes imaginable – murder, child rape and human trafficking.

The rich not paying taxes makes a ton of sense when you realize we can’t even charge them with heinous crimes……but have you seen the Dow? Or thanked President Trump?

  5. Every crime in epstein files is under USA jurisdiction, so other nations can’t do something.

believing the epstein files expose elite protection is the least surprising poll result ever.
public trust in institutions stays at rock bottom.
    same cynicism, new headline.

“Americans have functioning eyes and brains, can observe reality”

How about change that and do something about it?! other countries seems to be taking people in the files to account. There has at least been charges, people losing their jobs, investigations. Raids in offices on media platforms that a riddle with child porn, all sorts of shit.

In America, you get a badge of honour and a pass. Pedo heaven capital of the world.

  9. No shit. The biggest justice dodger is currently watching the country burn from the oval office like the dog in the meme.

  10. And instead of being outraged, they just think, “hmmmm maybe if I work all this extra overtime I can be rich and do whatever I want too.”

They make rules. They want us to follow them. They rule us till we run out of wealth.

  12. They don’t just get a pass, powerful Epstein pals can also get a job in the Trump administration.

  13. The US Government pardoned 3 billionaires.

Half of the pardons were to business executives and politicians.

And, this is only the people the US Government actually bothered to go after. They crippled the IRS division that goes after high net worth individuals.

  14. MAGA: see!? We were right about the pedophiles in charge, which is why we will continue to vote for the pedophiles

Thats because this is the truth. It has been for a while. USA is a place where you are punished for being poor and if you are rich you practically in King’s Landing (Game Of Thrones).

Well the most mentions in the trump files went to Trump. More than epstein. Hell the ring leader of the trafficking is now president.

    >Americans believe that wealthy and powerful people are rarely held accountable, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll found after the release of millions of records on the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s connections in elite U.S. business and political circles.

    >Some 69% of respondents in the four-day poll, which concluded on Monday, said their views were captured „very well“ or „extremely well“ by a statement that the Epstein files „show that powerful people in the U.S. are rarely held accountable for their actions.“

    >Another 17% said the statement described their views „somewhat well,“ while 11% said it didn’t reflect their thinking. Among both Republicans and Democrats, more than 80% said the statement described their thinking at least somewhat well.

    >Under congressional orders, the U.S. Justice Department has released trove after trove of documents that tie the late financier to a range of prominent people in politics, finance, academia and business, both before and after he pleaded guilty in 2008 to prostitution charges, including soliciting an underage girl. Epstein’s 2019 death in a Manhattan jail cell following his arrest on charges of sex trafficking of minors was ruled a suicide.

    >The scandal has proven a persistent political headache for President Donald Trump, who long fanned the flames of suspicions around Epstein and has been dogged by criticism that his administration was failing to fully disclose all that the U.S. government knew about the case.

A bare majority of American seems to like this state of affairs, too.

Else they wouldn’t VOTE for the party worsening the problem.

If you are poor, they can just lock you up. But if you’re rich…shit if you’re rich you can just buy your way free. You can even be charged of multiple crimes and have them all dropped at a whim once you become a president.

Laws for the most part do not apply to rich people. Even Chrisley got himself pardoned lol. And he was in jail eating Chick Fil A and Olive Garden every day.
