Es handelt sich um einen archivierten Beitrag von vor 4 Jahren und ich kann dort keinen Kommentar hinzufügen. Also ein Neues beginnen. Gibt es diesen Tee noch in Island?
Wir waren noch nie in Island, wollten es aber schon immer mal besuchen. Dieser Tee könnte für uns eine gute Ausrede sein, unseren Ausflug dorthin zu machen 🙂

You can get the red version in any supermarket in Iceland.
I found the Earl Grey version in one store online, but I don’t remember seeing it in the usual supermarkets.

They do have one regular store in Skeifan, so you can buy it there if you visit.
I think you should be able to buy Earl Gray in Krónan. I used to buy it frequently when i went trough my tea days.
As a tea-drinking Brit who has lived here for twenty years my only advice is to not waste time nor money on as Melrose’s. It’s such poor quality and only really carried on as a brand in countries with old fishing links to the UK like Iceland and Norway, who aren’t big tea drinkers.
Most mainstream UK brands are going to be infinitely better than Melrose’s and far, far easier to find in the States. I’m thinking Twinings, Clipper, Whittard etc.
The reason they liked it could have been something as simple as the great soft water Iceland has, which makes a huge impact on how good tea tastes.
