Nova Scotia in particular STILL calls in aide from new Brunswick whenever it catches fire, which is a problem because NB tends to also be on fire.

I had a thought: since Australia and Canada have opposite fire seasons, could we coordinate to share personnel and equipment between countries? Our peak wildfire periods largely complement each other, so it seems like there might be an opportunity for resource-sharing.
I suppose wildfire management isn’t a federal responsibility in either country, which complicates things. It seems pragmatic to federalize and agree to cross-border resource pooling.
