Interesting. It’s absolutely the weapon they need for taking down drones, however I thought it might be tough to implement on the F-16. Those rockets are fairly short range and need someone to laze the target, and keep the laser on target. Generally the role of a WSO (Backseater), which is what we have seen with the Super Hornets and F-15E’s.
Clearly they are able to do it, but must be a lot on the pilot.
