Fun fact is that in Spain, in some rural areas with heavy accents „Azpania“ it’s pronounced in a very similar way 😂

I should tell you as a Macedonian that the word for turkey comes from the Arab name of Egypt, so we call them misir/мисир (singular).

Would Poland not be pronounced Boland? I thought there was no P sound in Arabic. Don’t they pronounce Pepsi as Bebsi? They write it with the ب, don’t they? I’m no expert, just took some Arabic classes years ago.

Egypt recognizes Israel as a country. Why is it not treated as such on your map? Do the majority if Egyptians reject its existence, or is this your personal take?

No one calls it Montenegro bro. It’s „Al-jabal Al-aswad“, meaning the black mountain. Basically the translated name of Montenegro.
