Gavrilo Princip
Remove Čilić, Đinđić, Pavelić i Tadić
Avdija Vršajević – Very famous footballer here. While he didn’t play at the highest level, he is seen as an icon and a legend of the national team
Many people consider him right up there with the likes of Edin Džeko and Sergej Barbarez
You can add Izet Nanić and Abdulah Sidran
Danis Tanovic, Jusuf Nurkic, Mirza Teletovic, Zdravko Colic, Ivica Osim, Safet Susic

Nihad Teslić aka “Nikola Tesla”
Emir Međedović
Elon Musk
Selman Selmanagic – arhitekt Bauhaus skole, rodjen u Srebrenici, veci dio zivota proveo u Njemackoj, nazalost malo poznat u BiH.
Vladimir Prolog, a Croatian nobelist, the only thing connecting him to BiH is the fact that he was born in Sarajevo where he stayed until he was 6 (if i remember correctly). The fact that he was born in Sarajevo has nothing to do with him winning the Nobel prize, he never claimed so nor is there any indication of that being the case.
Gavrilo Princip
Emerik Blum
Amel Tuka i Kemal Monteno
U cant make a list and not starting it with Gavrilo Princip. The trigger for WWI. Which also introduced an artist named Adolf to the military who then teiggerd ww2 😀 u can blame it all on a bosnian guy lol
Some suggestions : Ban Kulin, Tvrtko I of Bosnia, Stjepan Tomašević, Gazi Husrev-beg, Husein Gradaščević, Omer Pasha Latas, Meša Selimović, Mak Dizdar, Aleksa Šantić, Skender Kulenović, Abdulah Sidran, and Emir Kusturica. There is more of course, but these are that came to my mind.
Gavrilo Princip. Zdravko Čolić, Lepa Brena, Aleksa Šantić, Jovan Dučić…
nele karajlic
Another prominent Serbian politician, Aleksandar Vučić, the current president of Serbia is originally from Bugojno. The famous late Serbian actor Nebojša Glogovac, a living one Sergej Trifunović, and the famous old Serbian writer Jovan Dučić are all from Herzegovina originally.
There are also more positive Bosnian Croats than that fucking traitor Pavelić.
Among politicians: Branko Mikulić and Ante Marković
Culture/Literature: Matija Divković, Ivan Franjo Jukić, Grgo Martić
Art: Gabrijel Jurkić, Karlo Mijić
Music: Nikša Bratoš, Vesna Pisarović, Ivo Fabijan, Davor ‚Sejo Sexon‘ Sučić
Also, this list is terminally incomplete without the notable Jewish-Bosnian engineer, entrepreneur (well, as much as one could be in a socialist country) and politician Emerik Blum
Vucic😂
Emerik Blum
Zdravko Čolić
Vladimir Prelog (Nobel price for chemistry)
Savo Milošević (Aston Villa)
Emir Kusturica

Vojislav Šeśelj
Halid Bešlić
Mehmed-pašs Sokolović
Razija Mujanovic, Halid Beslic, Mesa Selimovic, Branko Copic, Abdulah Sidran, Izet Nanic
If the citizenship is enough to qualify, I would like to See also Osama Bin Laden in this list. He was also a citizen of Bosnian and Hercegovina /s
Elon Musk, he is from Republika Srpska if I am not mistaken?
Since you’re going by the basis of „born in Bosnia“, I’d add Otto Englander, a Tuzla-born Bosnian Jew who was employed as a Hollywood writer, notably by Walt Disney. His credits, among others, include „Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs“, „Dumbo“ and „Pinocchio“.
Pls don’t downvote but..
Irfan Škiljan – maker of Irfan View, really great guy, we exchanged couple of emails
I have not seen this named mentioned – Mehmed Spaho
kakva je lista bez Semira Tuce?
