It’s staggering to watch CNN yesterday with almost all their sociopath pundits making excuses for the mega-prisons they’re building that are absolutely intended to be future concentration camps for anyone who opposes MAGA.
When confronted with numerous stories of adults and children suffering horrendous illness or death in the current ICE prisons, Kevin O’Leary brushes it off by saying “when you’re dealing with millions of people there’s always going to be a few horrific stories, that’s not going to stop, is there a middle ground?”
Lydia Moynihan, New York Post “I don’t like hearing those stories” but “we don’t have the resources to provide health care for the millions of illegal people.”
She tried claiming that “most of the reporting is that the children in these prisons are getting health care and education and-“. She was cut off by laughter before finishing.
CNN’s own Elie Hoenig made the ghoulish argument that since the Trump Admin will be mass arresting people for the next three years, “it’s not necessarily the worst thing to have new faciiites to house those people.”
The only sane and moral person on the panel was Leigh McGowan, of podcast PoliticsGirl. She pointed out that the ICE arrests are going down as they can’t find any actual criminals, and that the real plan for these MAGA prisons is probably much different. She points out that if ICE is supposed to be deporting people, there won’t actually be a need for long term “housing” of them in prisons.
She also added how there’s like corruption involved too, with the MAGA admin paying $128 million for a warehouse that was valued at $29 million less than two years ago.
