you know there are a lot of things that are worse in the South and specifically the darker states here… but they almost always relate to money. this is something that I wouldn’t imagine would relate back to money… and yet here it is being worse in the South, in some of the poorest states.

I would love too see a breakdown as an Arkansan. In north west Arkansas we have a very large bike system all over the region and I wonder how much more dense fatalities are up here

Isn’t this measuring two different things? Bike fatalities don’t only occur if someone is commuting. They may be strongly correlated but they aren’t the same thing.

Mississippi is Mississippi. Arkansas has the unfortunate circumstances of having extensive bike infrastructure and terrible biker culture
