Watching this get framed as some heroic stand is funny, because it costs him nothing. quiet shade is still brand management.

Dubya was a piece of shit president, and his grabs for executive power led to what we have going on today. Fuck him.

Sure wish this shit wasn’t behind a paywall. Honestly I think these articles shouldn’t even be posted unless OP puts the full text as a comment

  4. Trump is the best thing that ever happened to W’s legacy. I remember when I thought he was the bottom of the barrel. Probably my fault for thinking Republicans couldn’t get worse.

  5. Given their supposed preference for „straight talk“, Republicans are not exactly known for their subtlety.

    Why start now?

    W. should be the single most grateful human being towards fuckface cause fuckface made people forget how bad W. was within a single generation.

Without W , we wouldn’t have Donald T. Many of the flagrant crimes Donald is committing, had a test run during W Bush’s administration!

Stealing an election with Supreme Court decision. Lying us into war. Embracing torture. Subverting free press for administration’s lies and propaganda. Letting Wall Street greed and corruption run rampant. And, even giving Epstein a sweetheart deal to protect him and his buddies! All these were part of W Bush’s agenda!

It is President’s Day and I am here to not subtly say Fuck You Trump you’re a Pedo, Racist,Fascist, Ignorant POS who was Epstein’s bestie.

  9. While we all wish he was more blunt I am curious

Before pedo don has there been such a time when former POTUS basically came out against the sitting president?

Obama’s calling him out. Bush, albeit weakly, is criticizing, Trump’s bubba is also making public statements against this shit.

Wow, what courage…. NOT. Sup with former Presidents watching our Democracy fall and kids being tortured in prison camps?

That’s rich because it was his „Patriot“ Act that paved the way for this corrupt power grab. It was obviously back then that there were flimsy guardrails to prevent it from being used on US citizens. Now here we are some 20 years later. yay.

Let this sink in – Green Day just played a censored version of their 20 year old song at the Super Bowl … the song they were able to sing freely when Dubya was in power, with lyrics oost 9/11 attacking him we’re UNABLE TO HE SUNG FREELY IN TRYMP AMERICA IN 2026

I miss the brief period of time after gay marriage was legalized and before Trump won the first time, when I thought George W. Bush would definitely be the most buffoonish president of my lifetime.

When the dumbest President in American history, trashes the worst President in American history, within the span of quarter century, just 26 years ago. That means it has only taken the Republican Party just a 13 of those years to completely ruin our economy and America’s standing in the world. How truly embarrassing that both the Democratic and the Republicans… allowed that to happen. Although truthfully George Bush speaking out against his own Party is truly saying the that the Republicans have done not all but the most harm.

What this mostly goes to show is the two-party political system in America is deeply flawed.

Trump is making W’s legacy shine like gold. He used to be considered one of the dumbest ever Presidents, but not anymore

  16. If he would have done it publicly in September 24 we might not be in this mess.

  17. Get your flamethrowers out, but the President’s Emergency Program for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) was started in the Bush administration, and *was* credited with saving 26 million lives worldwide. Of course, Orange Mussolini kneecapped PEPFAR.

The program provided for distribution of low-cost generic equivalents to branded AIDS drugs in poorer nations. It was a rare example of cooperation between brand and generic manufacturers. The brand companies did not enforce their patents in the PEPFAR countries, and generics were permitted to manufacture low-cost generic equivalents of those patented branded drugs for distribution through the program. Those medicines, in addition to outreach and health care, saved 26 million lives. My former employer (Aurobindo Pharma) was one of the generic drug suppliers to PEPFAR.

So attack Bush all you want, but 26 million people in poorer nations are alive due to the PEPFAR program.
