No plans to ever go to the US again. There’s way better places to spend my money.

But they didn’t in Ontario, cross border stats dropped a small amount.

I always wanted to go to Disney and was saving up for it, but now Disney Paris or Disney Tokyo are much better options now!

My in laws talked about going to Disney with the family and I said I’ve said 10 things just today that would get my deported immediately, so no thank you.

They made it easy for us to keep that promise. It’s not hard to boycott travel to a country that’s actively hostile and makes it clear every chance it has that they couldn’t care less about you.

And now it turns out if you criticized ICE on social media (even reddit) then DHS night have you’re information.
So I’m not about to find out on US soil.

„*President Donald Trump’s ongoing trade war, threats to seize Greenland, and aggressive immigration enforcement efforts have made the United States a less desirable destination, travel agents said.*“
Still no word of the repeated threats of annexation into some hellish „51st state“ or of the risk of being summarily swept up by ICE to a detention facility.
These are the main reasons.
Say it.

I promise the people missing Disney USA, it’s not worth it anymore.
They have 20% less people than pre-covid in the parks, but it is 80% busier because they’ve gamified the experience so you have to use your phone all day long, just to attend the park and book rides.
Now Disney will intentionally understaff the park based off bookings/data.

“President Trump has done more for American tourism than anyone,“ said Anna Kelly, White House deputy press secretary. „His America First agenda has restored our country’s place as the leader of the free world once again – making it the best place to live or visit.”
What does this even mean? 😅

Went to Vegas last month. Spent a lot of money but it was nice not having as many people there.

Not going for the foreseeable future, that’s for sure. We’ll see what happens in 2028-2029.

The dollar is crap and they are disappearing people for months without any recourse or reason. If I wasn’t white, I even more would not go. They held a white Irish man who is married to an American for 5 months!

It’s a bummer, we love the American national park system and miss exploring the southwest. It’s a beautiful country with so much variety of landscape, but because of their government it could be years before me or my family would even want to cross the border. Ignorant folks ruining a good thing for the rest of us..

“Had less visibility”?? I guess that’s what we’re calling ‘Sales have sunk so far so fast we can’t even see bottom.’
Disney is a bad choice no matter where it’s located.
