“Huh I wonder what a culver is? Maybe I should google it”

The Midwesterners will hang me for this, but as a Louisianan who now lives in Indiana, Culver’s is just a worse Dairy Queen.

Sadly none here in PA, but I write a stop into our itinerary any time we’re traveling through a Culver’s state.

I’ve traveled all over the country and tried many regional restaurant chains. I can say two things for sure, every one of them is the best/worst and Runza is actually the worst.

  5. Ok, ok.

I’ll stop complaining about having to drive across town.

Culver’s is far and away my favorite whatever category (edit: fast food, apparently) they are.

Cheese curds, onion rings, custard shakes, fish sandwiches and burgers are all fantastic.

  6. Culver’s was great the first few times I tried it while on road trips. I was excited when my state finally got a couple relatively close, but the food at both stores has been lackluster since opening.

Hell yeah. This is the odd stuff this sub was built for.

Edit. I first read this as culverts. I don’t know what a culvers is.

  8. One of the good things about living in Illinois is being close to Culver’s.
