I feel like I’ve been hearing this same story for over 40 years now.
I read about this in The Economist a few months (years?) back. There is apparently a third ‚bud‘ that can be activated to stimulate the growth of a new tooth.
First bud is for baby teeth. Second bud is for adult teeth. Third bud could be used for a second chance at adult teeth.
As a person who has absolutely burned through my first set of adult teeth – please give me this chance.
why is this stuff always in sources like „boredpanda“ – i have a really hard time taking this stuff seriously.
I wonder how such work. Do they require some tooth still left as a scaffold? Can they throw teeth that have been pulled or lost? What stops them from growing nonstop? Do they grow in aligned or will you need braces again?
