Die Nachfolgekarte zu meiner letzten, Bei der letzten US-Präsidentschaftswahl stimmten alle Landkreise demokratisch. Diese Karte weist viel weniger Variationen auf, wenn man bedenkt, wie überwältigend die Republikaner in letzter Zeit das ländliche Amerika dominiert haben, aber es lohnt sich trotzdem, sie zu zeigen. Ich habe einige Änderungen an der Karte vorgenommen, die auf dem Feedback zu meiner letzten Karte basieren, z. B. indem ich nur die auf den regionalen Karten enthaltenen Werte zeige, Kentucky in den Süden verschiebe und ein abwechslungsreicheres Farbschema verwende, um jedes Jahr etwas deutlicher hervorzuheben.
Hinweis: Ein kleiner Fehler auf dem ersten Bild – Kodiak Island, AK ist nicht farbig, obwohl es als 2024 beschriftet werden sollte, auf dem Alaska-spezifischen Bild ist es korrekt. Das habe ich zunächst übersehen und vergessen, es erneut zu aktualisieren, sorry!

Something in the water of lake superior keeping MN and WI residents from going red. Wonder why that doesnt not apply to the UP of Michigan.
These maps are so tedious.
First, counties don’t vote and to use county as a metric is misleading.
Second, the shift after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 moved people from voting Democrat to voting Republican. Change of party, but they are still voting on race issues.

Lake County, MN only voted Republican in 1932 because socialist nominee Norman Thomas split the progressive vote
Menominee County, Wisconsin, was created in 1959.

Empty land doesn’t vote. This is stupid. Show a map where the actual people vote and for whom. Plus 36 million Americans didn’t vote last election. There is no way to show that either.
