      I think Hamas’s invasion and massacre of 1,200 Israelis was the enabling factor, to be honest.

      If America hasn’t provided a drop of aid, Israel could easily have just used artillery to turn every inch of Gaza into a fine powder. Artillery shells are dirt cheap and easy to source.

      And if you doubt the capability of artillery to do that, just look at the cities in Ukraine that have been completely obliterated by Russian artillery over the course of the Ukraine war.

      Cities that are larger in size than Gaza itself. (edited spelling)

      ALSO, it is generally illegal under U.S. law, specifically the Nuclear Proliferation Prevention Act and the Arms Export Control Act, to sell or provide military equipment, technology, or financial assistance to countries that develop nuclear weapons outside international inspection regimes, or those engaged in nuclear proliferation.

      AOC is wrong. Israel has had the means to sandblast Gaza for close to 30 years.

      The Six Day utterly humiliated the Arab states in the 60s. AOC doesn’t know her history.

      It it were not for Hamas‘ beyond stupid attack on picnicers, Netanhayu would have been indicted and subect to trial by Israelis themselves, but Hamas being Hamas, did whatever worked best for their enemies at that moment and, as a result, everyone else is paying the price of their moronic leadership.

      Actual left wing Democrats like AOC need to start reminding voters that Israel has universal health care, whilst the US does not. Then start questioning why the US would give $4 billion a year to Israel whilst 200 000+ Americans file for bankruptcy due to medical debt annually. It’s actually preposterous.

      I wish there was similar energy about what’s going on in Sudan. Not downplaying Palestine it just feels like nobody gives a shit about Sudan which is sad.
