The UK actually has a surprisingly large number still with our population density it’s quite low

It was in Kazakhstan too. The Russian McDonalds being sold meant that they could not get their regular supply for most ingredients so they also just sold and rebranded.
In Russia, McDonalds rebranded to Вкусна и Точка (Tasty, Period).
In Kazakhstan, they rebranded to I’M (like „I Am“) which is so stupid lol but whatever. Before 2024 was random female names for every separate filial.

What’s the employee situation at Guantanamo? I assume it’s manned by Americans. So do you just apply somewhere to go there just to work at mcdonals? Do military members work there? Military families?
Idk shit about US military logistics, but now I’m wondering how it is on those other huge bases around the world. Are they all manned by americans or do they employ locals as well?

Japan has 24 Mcdonalds per million, the USA has 39.8 per million, which i think is the highest, but Australia is trailing just behind at 39.5 Mcdonalds per million people.

McDonald’s is my goto example for showing how much influence US has. its mediocre but for some reason it is the staple fast food in many developed countries and in growing countries like India, its a „premium“ fast food

I’ve been to 15% of McDonalds (31 locations) in my country and I’ve never felt so fat writing a comment lmao

This is a solid fact that is only tangential to this map: There are more libraries in America than there are McDonald’s & Starbucks in the *world.* Just wanted to throw that in.

Cubans are not allowed to patronage the only McDonald’s in Cuba on a military base. Who runs the place?

There are surprisingly few McDonald’s in South Korea according to this map. Less than in Taiwan

Malaysia has more than Indonesia 😱 that is mind blowing as I’ve seen many in Java Indonesia and Bali 😅 guess it’s mostly because the other islands don’t have many.
But still, compared to the population that’s a alot in Malaysia.
Other intresting ones is South Korea having less than Taiwan.

Really interested how few locations there are in Mexico, considering is vast size, population, proximity to the US, and its huge influx of tourists. Mexicans rather eat their own food I guess, kudos to them.

is there a correlation between these numbers and fat people?
