I’m hopeful that it will work out. The series so far has hewn reasonably closely to the novels. Child does a good job at not constantly doubling the stakes, which eventually leads to fiction feeling ridiculous.

Some of Child’s novels have tons of fights and some are more suspenseful slow burns. If the tv series follows whichever novel this season is based on, I’m hopeful the quality will remain high.
