India has agreed to purchase $8.6 billion worth of weapons from Israel in 2026, according to Forbes India. The deal makes Israel India’s second-largest arms supplier after France and highlights the deepening defense ties between the two countries.

The package includes SPICE 1000 precision-guided bombs and the Ice Breaker missile system produced by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Rampage air-to-surface missiles made by Elbit Systems, and Air Lora air-launched ballistic missiles developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.

These systems give India long-range strike capabilities, high precision targeting, and the ability to operate even in environments with heavy electronic warfare. India has already been Israel’s largest defense customer in recent years, accounting for a major share of Israeli arms exports, and this new deal shows that cooperation in the military field is continuing to expand.
