      IDK James had a certain jeno se qua that I don’t think David has, I could be wrong.
      Favorite movie tax: Murphy’s Romance.

      The secret skill of James Garner as Rockford was he could take a beating and you never lost respect for him. There’s a sad-sack nature to the character which has me a touch dubious of Boreanz‘ ability to capture, though what turns up on screen will decide it one way or another.

      I had always hoped for a big-screen movie with Chris Pine 😉

      The theme song is one of the best.

      They did reboots of [Magnum PI](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7942796/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk) and [Hawaii Five-0](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1600194/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk).

      I didn’t think they were great but I like the old timey car chases and explosions that real stunt people used to do. One reason I liked [the movie The Fall Guy](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1684562/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk) was because of the car scenes.

      It’ll be interesting to see how this one pans out.
