I almost want an election just so the liberals can get some smarter MPs in parliament. I’m sure their recruitment would be at an all time high right now.

What I’ll never understand is why conservatives keep choosing Poliviere , instead of drafting someone like Rona Ambrose .

At this point I have to ask how sustainable is carneys coalition. He’s managed to eat both the conservatives and the ndps lunch while keeping traditional liberals. Carney is a true superstar but keeping so many people happy is going to be hard.

I think an underrated storyline here is just how much NDP supporters seem to like Carney, despite assertions from partisans to the contrary. Over half of their historic support has already abandoned the party for the Liberals, and the remaining rump still has a +40 net approval of Carney.
People love to harp about how the previous election was all „strategic voting“, but there’s more to the story than that.
