There’s going to be a lot of non experts on this thread upset about what this expert is saying.

Oh hey look it’s someone talking about transgender people that’s not transgender and has no experience in transgender healthcare. And not only that the views of actual transgender people are not included in the debate.
How unusual!
Transgender people are only ever spoken about, they are NEVER spoke to. And generally, the only people that speak about them are the bigots that hate them. No wonder the debate is so toxic.

>Asked if children had been let down by an adult-led debate, Cass said „absolutely“, adding they „were also caught up in all the issues about single-sex spaces and sports and safe areas for women which were actually not to do with the children but they were somehow part of a football within it“.
>“That’s a real shame that children have been weaponised.“
Trying to find a quote to back up the headline and this is all I got. Seems odd to jump to the headline from this.

The BBC are institutionally transphobic and cannot be trusted on the issue.

So a person whose widely discredited review led to puberty blockers being banned for trans children and a 300% increase in trans youth suicides, who dismissed those pointing at the increased suicides as „shroud wavers“ is now saying that the ‚debate‘ is toxic.
One day she’ll be regarded like Andrew Wakefield.

You got blood on your hands Cass. As does everybody who put you in that position.
I can’t imagine what it would be like to know I’ve made a decision that led to even one person dying. How does it feel, Cass?

Anyone else notice the trans thing was quiet for ages and now it’s back?
The cycling of culture rage bait. Immigrations been hot for a while so I guess they gotta switch things up

The biggest problem with the trans debate is the inability to criticise anything „Trans“ without being called a bigot.
Example: on the train the other day there was a trans person (clearly a man) dressed in what can only be described as some victorian-esque ‚little bo-peep‘ outfit. Clearly making it visible to see up the skirt. Carying a back pack that had lots of trans and rainbow pins etc on it.
Now I look at that as someone with a mental health issue. But if I say that I’m a bigot and committing a hate crime…

Author of a report so poorly made and biased that the New England Journal of Medicine ran a lead piece tearing it apart.

Cass has so many odious characteristics but it’s the hypocrisy that rankles the most.
