Veränderung des Korruptionswahrnehmungsindex (CPI) zwischen 2012 und 2025

Despite comparatively absurd improvements, Armenia only has improved by 10-15 points which puts Armenia somehow below that of Georgia, even though Georgia is far more corrupt than Armenia.

The CPI ratings are highly dependent on experts from the guven region, however, I would argue these „experts“ probably don’t even know the native languages for some of these countries! More likely than not, their expertise is on par with Thomas De Waal which is not a positive comparison.

An example of how laughable these ratings can be, Saudi Arabia is less corrupt than Armenia and Georgia I believe… Equally so is rating Iran to be more corrupt than Azerbaijan which is almost laughable considering how capable the Iranian state is to Azerbaijan with the current islamist regime running Iran.

So take the CPI ratings with a grain of salt.
