      I visited this spot last time I went to Europe, they still have areas that have been preserved to show the damage

      Geez this looks like horrible terrain to fight on with all the busted rocks. How many broken/sprained ankles did they have to deal with!?

      My (step) grandfather got wounded in that battle. Was part of a polish brigade. Brutal
      battle.
