And the minister conveniently ignores how the people in Taiwan feel.

Obviously seems ridiculous to us but I wonder if this will land in China (especially with the whole “Japanese government denying war crimes” thing that does kinda lend credence to these sorts of ideas).

Oh and on a slight tangent, I read a short story called The Torrent from the perspective of a Taiwanese man in the Imperial era. Very interesting stuff.
