      Feeling the grift. There is so many people in need and these wealthy people can’t imagine what the struggle is like for us middle class. The feel so deserving to be propped up it’s disturbing

      I live in Austin, not too far from this area.  . It’s gorgeous and SUPER expensive. This didn’t smell right from the beginning, but obviously didn’t wanna be “that guy” to raise the issue.

      Well damn, now I feel bad for standing up for the family when people were dragging others for donating. I thought they were literally penniless after the battle with cancer.

      I’m so fucking done with rich people.

      Friend of mine works in a children’s hospital in the terminal cancer ward.

      I cannot believe people lined up to give money to this well to do family. So many people who have nothing are seriously suffering.

      Sick world. Celebrity is poison.

      And here I was called gross yesterday for my belief that this gofund me was a grift and that they should sell their house and rental property and live within their means. I swear this is sickening.

      If his wife had an ounce of decency she would donate the money to a local cancer facility in his name, he might have been in on the ranch purchase but having gone through stage 3 bowel cancer myself, and luckily survived, the drugs / chemo mess with your mind so much I can reserve judgement.

      But what his wife is doing now is so fucked, i mean he was no Brando but he was a decent actor who played a central role in a show that meant a lot to a lot of people, and that legacy, for what its worth is being shit upon the person who is supposed to love him the most.

      Yeah, I’m very sorry for his kids, it sucks they lost their dad.

      That being said,their mother could sell their almost $5 million ranch (!!) and they could downsize to a still gorgeous house nearby.

      That’s more than most people get. I still can’t believe they got $2 million from the GFM.

      I had to spend my whole savings on my dad’s $3,000 funeral, that sucked. Then my car died, and I had to go onto debt to get a new (used) one. No one game anything, lol!

      That’s the real world.

      Laughed out loud when I saw they’d made $2 million on their kickstarter. People are dumb.
