      IOC, by discriminating against him, brought more awareness and support to his cause, than any gold medal ever could.

      So, perversely, thank you IOC.

      I would trade an Olympic medal, even if I had won the gold, for a Ukrainian Medal of Freedom from President Zelenskyy without second thought.

      Ukrainians have shown themselves to be honorable, resilient, and deeply patriotic people who stand with remarkable courage for their freedom and identity.
      Their spirit reflects not only love of country, but also a profound commitment to democracy, community, and human dignity.

      Russians are nothing like this!!
      They are just rude, impolite and not decent at all. Nobody wants them for their nice kind. Nobody wants to have them at the next table in the restaurant, in the next room in the hotel decent people just hate Russians.

      I miss the Cold War when they were locked in behind the wall. The world was so much better.
