Canadian pension funds have a fiduciary duty to earn the maximum amount of money for their clients.
The USA is the place where lots of money is going to be earned for those clients.
If Canada wants those Canadian dollars to come back to Canada, we need to make Canada into an economy where lots of money can consistently be made.
That means lower taxes for corporations, and lower capital gains taxes for investors. We have to become a more attractive jurisdiction to invest in than the USA.
