      funny how the nothing to hide crowd always seems to have the most conveniently timed donations right before key votes transparency shouldn’t be this hard

      What a garbage article.

      A Senator, who has received campaign donations from Les Wexner, one of his constituents, for „as long as Husted has been in office,“ (all the way back to 2001) receives another standard donation *before* the FBI memo that set up the ensuing Epstein hysteria.

      New Republic tries to link that donation to a party line vote two months later. The Senator ultimately (as did the entire Senate) vote to pass the Epstein Transparent Act.

      $3500 is the legal limit for individual donation, who knows what he got on the back end but could the $3500 donation be a „play ball or the other side of the donation will show up“play?
