      While the justices disagree on a few questions, the ruling on section 6(2)a) of the Charter granting a right to interprovincial travel is held by all but justice Rowe due to the French text of the section reading „de se déplacer dans tout le pays et d’établir leur résidence dans toute province“ which does not mean „moving to“ (which would be „déménager“ ) in the same way as the English version.

      The majority and justice Rowe also find a right to interprovincial travel under section 6(1).
