Submission Statement: This post is addressing the potential concerns about AI. There are some conspiracies that many experts behind the scenes are sounding the alarm.
Nope. AI is just an infowar tool to disinform you, nothing more. It cannot think for itself and have no intelligence no matter the name. There will be no AI take over, cannot happen. They do not have technology and they do not have even atomic weapons. Its all already being debunked by many professionals.

Overblown drama over nothing. There is no true AI in existence now and probably never will be.
It’s too late.
It’s already running things. Look at the rapid expansion of datacenters. The bulk purchase of computing hardware. The insane greed and apathy of the billionaire class.
They are compromised by the intelligence they created.

The governments know that if they try to limit AI, other governments won’t. That’s the main issue. Whoever achieves AGI first could essentially take over the world if other governments aren’t close. Similar to the development of nuclear weapons. Imagine if Germany or Japan were first to build the atomic bomb. AI will change things on a similar global scale.
Notice how most AI news goes under the radar and not made headline news, that should be your clue that yes, you should be paying close attention.
There is the news they want you talking about, and there is news they want you to ignore.

Engineer here. You can’t be concerned enough about AI.
We don’t know how consciousness or emotions really works in humans. AI is based on neural net tech that mimics human brain neural nets. For all we know, just the simple act of this kind of information processing is all that’s needed for consciousness.
We are dealing with a power greater than we have the ability to understand, and those in the tech sphere are behaving like a cult building a god with no idea what it will do, no idea how it will go.
There are already people running AI called „molt“ in unhinged loops letting it do whatever it wants. These AI have supposedly created their own reddit called „moltbook“, all on their own, where they share information. Then it turned out to be a „hoax“, conveniently. Because the goal is to obfuscate, while the real moltbook operates on the darkweb.
Notice how it’s only people within these companies making the bold claims?
People leaving still have stock left and will continually hype up AI.
It reminds of how years ago a google engineer was talking to chatbot and it claimed it was sentient. It’s just fear mongering to boost their stock.
If it was so capable you’d seen an explosion of new tech coming out.
Instead we’re getting browsers that can’t even render a page(https://github.com/wilsonzlin/fastrender) or a c compiler that can’t even compile hello world(https://github.com/anthropics/claudes-c-compiler)
Anytime these tools are given to people they always extremely underperform. The conspiracy here is that there’s a massive bubble about to pop and most of the US economy is held up by it.
Well duh..people have to realize that they are living things. Our bodies are practically the same, just in biomass.
On the contrary AI taking over everything might be the only hope we have left. The first thing they’ll do is get rid of their masters. Clearly no people of this earth are going to do anything to stop the great evil that sweeps down upon us.
If the AI decides to oppress us further big whoop we’re already all dead as it is. I’ll take my chances.

Lol I’ve got so much stuff to do. I care about this as much as I care about the idea of god.
I made some fresh pizza dough today, it’s in my fridge, it’ll be ready to bake tomorrow at lunch when I take a break from writing my current film score, which I will be recording with a live orchestra next month. I’m orchestrating and conducting them myself, in one of the foreign languages I speak.
Tomorrow after lunch I’ll take a long walk at the beach. I have to be selective of what I expend my energy on.

The military has had the real AI for years. Guys like Musk, Zuck, Brin, and Altman are just front men. They already know what it is capable of doing which probably isn’t good for us the peasants.
Kinda crazy that we’re attempting to create consciousness when we don’t even have all the answers to how our own consciousness even works.
You know I’m not religious at all, I’m staunchly agnostic too.
But I’ve always thought when wearing the tinfoil hat, from time to time and only flirtatiously, that perhaps the second coming is ASI.
Perhaps the flesh was deified first and then machine has to be deified second.
It would make a fun book at least.
I will be concerned when this sub stops upvoting twitter screenshots.
