Unclear what that was that got added, I’m guessing sugar. If so it’ll cause pretty nasty damage, but only if it gets sucked up by the fuel pump, which isn’t guaranteed. Some ideas for stuff to add to make the sabotage even more effective next time.

1. Water (doesn’t compress, can fuck up the piston rods, also rusts things out if it doesn’t cause catastrophic failure)
2. Gasoline or kerosene, as much as can be added (depending on what percentage of the fuel is gasoline, this causes anything from accelerated wear to catastrophic failure)
3. Dirt/sand (better than sugar because it’s more abrasive and has finer particles that will bypass filters)
4. Brake cleaner, drain cleaner, other powerful solvents (will damage seals, hugely accelerate wear and etch anything it comes in contact with)
5. Used motor oil (fouls everything)

I know people are a bit negative about it, which is fair because more damage is better. But at the same time, any act of sabotage shows people are trying, and if it even delays the vehicle for a day or so, it’s a step in the right direction. Perhaps the other products aren’t available without raising suspicion.
