      > I am sorry that my choice of language has offended some people

      The old classic non apology.

    2. Amazing the entitlement he feels to chirp about the UK after he campaigned for Brexit and then ran off to Monaco

I don’t watch football, but out of curiosity i googled how many foreign players are in Manchester United. Apparently 19 out of 26 players in the first team are foreign born.

I am sorry that as a billionaire tax avoider who inflicted Brexit on my country and the fucked off abroad, and also as an employer of a lot of immigrants, some people thought I was being a bit of a twat when I decided to indulge in some immigrant-blaming.

    5. Look, I know I personally have said some things that offend Ratcliffe. I’ve called him an asshole and an out of touch twat.

I’m sorry that he is that way, and I am sorry if he feels like me calling him a cunt is an unfair thing to do. I regret that he feels that way, rather than accepting it into his heart and making necessary changes.

If he wanted to make an anti immigration point he is welcome to. He’d be preaching to the choir.

You don’t however get to be a tax dodging, benefit claiming who receives millions from the government whilst living in Monaco and then have a go at normal people.

      He is a despicable cunt.

    7. Imagine you slap somebody, then say ’sorry that some people were hurt by the way my body moved‘.

To be honest he has a bit of a point, even is put across rather heavy handidly. The point he was trying to make when he said that Britain is “being colonised by immigrants” is clear. You cannot grow an economy healthily when you have an ever-expanding number of people on out-of-work benefits. The result is that employers have been forced to turn to migrant labour to fill the gaps. That has helped the economy to grow in recent years, although only just. real GDP per capita is only just ahead of where it was in 2007; but it has come at the price of putting greater stress on public services and the housing stock.

    9. I don’t believe him on any shite that comes out of his mouth until his actions are put in place.

He first needs to sell all foreign names in Utd and then only buy British.

It would be absolutely hilarious to all fans except Utd and make the next manager’s job a fun rollercoaster.

Just use the relevant data: [https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/internationalmigration/bulletins/longterminternationalmigrationprovisional/yearendingjune2025](https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/internationalmigration/bulletins/longterminternationalmigrationprovisional/yearendingjune2025)

The negative of this data is a baseline from 2013.

The better approach is earlier at least as far back as 1980 to show the rise up to 2013 where 2013 numbers look EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH only to be shattered by enormous magnitude rise post this dat and then again post 2020…

Why the man uses emotive language and not easily available data and description is the most curious aspect here… far too curious in fact given his financial pedigree is with numbers!

With that said, the over emphasis on OPTICS over SUBJECT is itself also wrong as it detracts from the useful process of democracy of freedom to exchange ideas and information to educate the public and electorate on policy eg Migration effects on Population, Resources and society and cultural absorption problems where they emerge and which need to be in the open not dismissed via “How dare you!” deterrents.
