Google Maps sucks here because Google won’t build a server in Korea because then they’d have to pay real taxes on the 5-11 trillion won they actually make here out of all of their services, not just maps, instead of the 387 billion they report. That’s it. That’s the whole 19-year saga. Saved you a click

    Look, I use Naver Map every day and it’s a great app, for Koreans. But every time one of these „Naver Map is now foreigner-friendly!“ articles drops I wonder if the journalists actually tried using it in English
