Hallo! Ich arbeite derzeit in der Hotelbranche in Spanien. Ich habe sowohl die argentinische als auch die spanische Staatsangehörigkeit. Ich spreche Englisch, Spanisch und ein wenig Finnisch, das ich jeden Tag lerne. Ich habe vor, nach Rovaniemi zu ziehen und im Gastgewerbe zu arbeiten. Ich habe bereits über die Stadt gelesen; Ich habe dort letzten Januar sogar Urlaub gemacht und mich darin verliebt. Es ist so schön! Es muss einer der schönsten Orte sein, die ich je besucht habe. Ich war wirklich fasziniert. Auch die Aussicht im Sommer muss unglaublich sein. Meine Frage ist, wie ist es wirklich, dort zu leben? Ist es einfach, eine Wohnung zu finden? Gibt es Arbeit im Gastgewerbe? Ist die Bezahlung gut? Ich weiß, dass ich kein Millionär werde; Meine Absicht ist einfach, ein Gehalt zu haben, das es mir ermöglicht, bequem zu leben und mir etwas Gutes zu tun. Ich stelle mir vor, dass das Bildungssystem sehr gut ist. Ich habe Typ-1-Diabetes; Wie ist die Gesundheitsversorgung in Rovaniemi? Wenn mir jemand, der in Rovaniemi lebt, etwas über das Leben dort erzählen könnte, wäre ich sehr dankbar!

It is winter there now, so pretty cold, very little daylight.
Tourism here is a bit wild west, pay is not good and jobs are only seasonal for most.
Housing is expensive. Rovaniemi has a good hospital and medical services, but like everywhere they are understaffed and overworked.
Healthcare is good. Everyday life is pretty much like anywhere else, work takes up most of it. The turism industry is heavily winter based so there will be problems with what to do for work during the off-season. Lots of workers come only for the winter. Due to this rented housing is scarce, however 80’s housing can be bought very cheaply if you where planning to stay and have the means.
Watch the movie „Reindeerspotting“ and you’ll get an idea how much there is to do there. Id imagine the level of english is not the best either there, but certainly better than rural spain/argentina.
But if you like long winters, staying at home and untouched nature its probably okay.
