Remember folks, there were race wars just 60 short years ago and their grudge over accepting brown people as people has seen many of their hateful policies institutionalized through law to the direct detriment of American citizens.
Additionally, many those racist losers and their indoctrinated loser kids/grandkids are still VERY much alive and voting with all that hate in their grandparents heart, to the tune of ~45% of America.
You would think it to be limited to GoP but **racism doesn’t observe partisan party lines,** and the problem really is on both sides here (albeit disproportionately) as we saw in 2024.
We can argue that it was stolen, and it probably was given what we now know, but the fact that *it got close enough to steal* lends credibility to my point.
The choice was a Dagwood sandwich on dark bread vs a shit sandwich on wonder bread, and a large part of America said „Sorry, we only use wonder bread because other breads aren’t actual bread. We’ll take the shit sandwich please.“
