      I think that there are a lot of jobs where you don’t really need a business owner if the work is simple enough. IMO pretty much every snow removal company should be worker owned. The last snow removal company I worked for was owned by a landlord who would have had a heart attack just from touching a shovel. He hired a manager for the company so he didn’t even have to make any decisions or hire people.

      I work a different job in the summer where I get paid directly on productivity and it feels good to get paid like that if you’re good at it. Likewise I imagine working hard at a company where you receive a share of the profit instead of just an hourly wage probably feels good too.
