I love the sentiment, but yes, Trump gets to have whatever he wants, obviously. What are the various governments going to do about it?
They can’t stop traffic, and that’s the only power they have.
The author doesn’t seem to understand that if Trump has congress and the Supreme Court, there is nothing he can’t do. Law isn’t worth the paper it’s written on if congress or the Supreme Court won’t enforce it. It doesn’t matter if he can’t do it, if he does it, and no one stops him, then he has done it
I’m surprised people don’t understand this yet. Trump can declare ICE or whatever he wants to block the bridge and take it using an executive order, none of it would make any sense, and if congress or the SC won’t stop him, he has it.
Everyone has to focus on somehow getting republicans to dare to do anything.
