I vaguely remember that Ukraine once asked Germany whether they could have a submarine. And slowly now I understand how such a request came about in the first place. Instead we owe Ukraine answers. We promised the Budapest memorandum.
We’re crying Ukraine can’t join NATO because Putin.
While this was the goal of the memorandum. To break Russian bodies until Russia has paid up.
While I do see that usually energy infrastructure is not considered a valid military target, there us a strong case for it in Ukraine’s case.
Much different from how Russia strikes Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, as Ukraine derives little income from it, Russia’s bid is instead to inflict suffering.
