There were entire lines the microphone was away from his mouth cause he was too busy spinning in circles. And they thought they could hide that by just showing a crowd of maybe 200 people while playing audio as if there was 20,000 there.

Reports are that kid rocks actual vocals were so bad they just turned off his mic and let the recorded track play.

Very generously assuming it was actually him singing and that it was recorded on professional grade equipment, it was still pre-recorded (I.e not live) and they still didn’t sync it up.
It should be even easier to sync since any changes in the audio/cadence due to his *crazy movements* would have been captured in the audio recording.

I mix concerts for a living, have worked with many artist that incorporate tracks , that performance from the clips I saw was 💯 lip synced , badly at that !
The vocal is constant in the verse & he repeatedly moves the mic away from his mouth & there’s zero drop on the vocal level. That’s a sure fire sign of running backing tracks with no live main microphone
