      This is most likely an excuse for the layoffs, But we will also see this become more frequent as AI advances further

      You lost jobs because of AI or they invested in AI and it failed so they had to cut jobs.

    3. Ai is an excuse. Lack of need is an issue.

      Lets be honest, the majority of the work force is easily replaced, employers get distracted disgruntled lazy workers who expect so much but give so little.

      Wait 10 more years, see where we are.

    4. AI has nothing to do with it. They are jsut cowards and dont want to upset the regime that the policies like tariffs and threatening to annex other countries has an impact on business.

      My friend lost his job at a company t mobile bought up. 10 years as fleet and warehouse manager. They are replacing him with an AI agent and a lower paid employee.

      Definitely has nothing to do with jabba the glut being in office .. just AI.. yea that’s it.. AI..

    7. Was I the only one amazed that an AI ad during the Super Bowl was promoting taking the day off with the power of AI?

      I’ve been saying for years we are not ready for the havoc automation is going to bring. The boomers in congress will wait until we are in the thick of it before they do anything.
