About time. I’m forced under Thames Water. The bastards are some of the worst water polluters in the country.
The UK has a wonderful, understated natural beauty. The good earth is rich and can nourish all life. Rewilding efforts prove it.
But when a private contractor company decides to treat that flippantly for easy profit, they need more than fines. They need to be destroyed.

It’s generous to call these loopholes. They are gigantic chasms left by the poorly thought out and worded legislation.

Water along with most infrastructure should be nationalised. The test of privatisation has proved these companies fail due to asset stripping and need government backing ultimately.

If a survey was done on the state of the waterpipes I am sure the bill to bring them up to standards would negate any payment, they haven’t been replacing and do not appear to have had to have a replacement scheme in place, unlike the other utilities.
