  4. Florida GOP just branded „less than minimum wage“ as „opportunity“ because nothing says „American dream“ like „we pay you what we want“

Mexico’s minimum wage increases every year. The U.S. hasn’t increased its federal minimum wage in almost 20 years.

I’m fluent in conservative so let me break down why every day working class folks think this is a good idea.

They believe the younger working generations don’t work hard enough. They believe they have it too easy compared to themselves, so giving them less money will increase how much they need to work to make the same as they did before, and if they expect tips *(which the workers will become more reliant on)*, they’ll have to do it with a big smile on their face.

Conservatives believe in this attitude towards their fellow working class folks because the conservative brain has been scientifically shown to be smoother and soupier than more formed, stronger progressive brains. This is simply from brain atrophy. Once they left high school, they stopped using and developing their brain muscles and began to rely on others to tell them how to think and feel. That’s how we have ended up where we are today.

Florida residents should advance a bill to allow Republicans the ‘opportunity’ to go fuck themselves.

Employers are whining that they can’t afford the payrolls at the present Florida minimum wage.

  11. Looked through the bill. So basically it’s like a internship. But less regulated

Nothing in it really stops it from being abused.

  12. Nebraska did this, Missouri is also pushing a bill through. This is obviously a new thing business groups are pushing to GOP controlled legislatures. I bet the bills have almost identical language.

  13. What the hell is pre-apprenticeship?

Apprenticeship is supposed to be entry level.
