This reminds me of a situation that happened. I was over at a friends home and the parents were just giving it to the 15 year old. The father had gotten a statement from the health insurance with plan b on there. This was 20 or so years ago. I assume there are lots of ways a parent may come to know about medical info.
So this is clearly my own ignorance, but I had always assumed until you were 18 your parents had access to your medical records and had to give concent for things.
This is so dangerous. Removing the right of teens to get medical treatment if they so choose. Making them lie and cover things up. They won’t tell things to their doctors because it’s not private anymore. This will literally kill children.
