Just stop. Parents do your jobs. Stop making the state the nanny and co parent.
Swap chatbots in these stories with your kids talking with strangers. There would be outcry for any parents letting their kids just wander out and start sharing their life and fantasies with random strangers telling them who knows what.
That seems silly. Why would you care how old the chatbots are?
