      If Trump recognizes Crimea as Russian, this will be yet another in a long list of examples of Trump providing aid and comfort to America’s arch enemy.

      The Constitution has something to say about such behavior – and also has a remedy.

      Putin’s obsession with Crimea and eastern Ukraine will cost Russia their Siberian possessions. China will take back Outer Manchuria.. and probably more given that Putin’s war has left Russia crippled.

      Crimea was an evil imperialist land grab, but it’s also a fait accompli. Expecting it to be given back is entirely unrealistic and an obstacle to peace. As unjust as it is, recognition of reality is absolutely a a bargaining chip that I would be willing to concede on.
