It’s the annual crackdown I guess. Let me get a cake to celebrate and stack more when it crashes further

Considering how many people got ’scammed‘ with crypto and losing their hard earned money China is doing a good thing to protect their people.

tldr; China has reinforced its crackdown on cryptocurrencies, updating its 2021 policies to expand restrictions on virtual currencies and tokenization. The People’s Bank of China and other agencies declared most crypto-related activities as illegal financial activities, including trading, issuance, and intermediation. Offshore platforms are barred from serving mainland users, and RMB-pegged stablecoins require approval. The policy aims to protect monetary sovereignty and financial stability, with strict enforcement measures outlined for regulators and law enforcement.

Yeah. Heard this many times before.

They confiscate ASIC mining machines under the guise of destroying them. Then they use them behind the scenes for the Chinese govt to mine crypto.
