  1. > Fans of 2009 comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop have Adam Sandler to thank for the film’s success — at least its star Kevin James thinks so.

    > „He saved me. He made my movie Mall Cop. I would never have gotten that made,“ James said this week on The Drew Barrymore Show. „He made it happen.“

    > James not only starred in but also cowrote and coproduced the 2009 comedy about a mall security guard who finds himself in a situation where he must become a hero. Sandler, who was already a blockbuster movie star, was also a producer.

  2. Say what you want about Sandler, but he rides for his people. That crew loyalty is honestly rare in Hollywood.

The Paul Blart: Mall Cop AskReddit thread is still one of my favorites of all time.

Adam Sandler single-handedly keeps the careers of like 7 talentless people afloat. Good friend to have, I guess.

King of queens was on for 10 years and is syndicated? What do you mean your career is over?? That’s a huge accomplishment that’s still in tv today running reruns

  6. I never gave a crap about Kevin James until I saw him as the bad guy in „Becky“. He honestly nailed that part.

Kevin James should be thanking Chris Farley for dying. He was the temu fat guy replacement for a true legend. If Farley hadn’t died, he’d have been in all of Kevin’s roles in every sandler movie instead.

Adam Sandler has always felt to me like the coolest camp counselor at summer camp.

We haven’t given up yet Blart. You’re incredibly untalented and replaceable. Just keep washing Sandler’s sweats and laughing at his jokes and you’ll probably be fine.

  10. Adam is a lot stronger than he looks. He carried that unfunny fat asshole’s movie career for over a decade.
