Me too. My church used to say that „false gods“ were things like hobbies, money, or your career…..Ummmm, ya. While that is *technically* true (if you define a „god“ as something that takes precedence in all areas of your life) HOLY SHIT, were they off.

I never understood the rage God had at Israel for „worshipping other gods “ NOW, I understand. Wow.I just wish He would come down here and start cracking skulls. I’m all for God’s incredible grace and Jesus granting forgiveness of sins, but, honestly, people who have done these things should be INSTANTLY DAMNED TO THE LOWEST PIT OF HELL.

      Just my take on it.

I’m a born again Christian (John 3:1-21) who went down the rabbit hole after being born again. I see how some „conspiracy theories“ line up with the teachings of the Bible.

A One World Government, One World Currency and One World Religion are biblical and that is the „end game“ for the so-called elite that think these are their plans.

What you are understanding is what many of the God haters (read Romans Chapter 1 and note in verse 30, where those who reject God are described as haters of God) refer to as the God of the Bible being a moral monster for what He condoned, concerning the pagan worshippers in the Old Testament.

If interested, you can look into the following.

Found at Got Questions dot org, „Does the Bible prophesy a one-world government and a one-world currency in the end times?“ and „What will be the end times, one-world religion?“

Found at Got Questions dot org, „Why did God condone such terrible violence in the Old Testament?“

Found on YouTube, posted by Got Questions Ministries, „Is God a Moral Monster? How can I make sense of the OT God? with Dr. Paul Copan – Podcast Episode 92“

„Is the God of the Old Testament morally evil? Why do some people view the Old Testament God as a malevolent monster? How can I reconcile a God of love with what I read in the Old Testament? An interview with Dr. Paul Copan.“

Of the what, like, 18,000 or so gods that humans have invented, it must be so magical and special to realize the one that you picked – or, most likely, that your parents told you to believe in – is the right one.

    4. Crazy how there’s a literal truck load of Christians and Jews backing maga and all over the Epstein files but the abrahamics are still hurr-durring and trying to claim it’s not their evil religions but those damned non abrahamic hippies.

So I just read Jeremiah and he gave them SOOOO many damn chances. And every single time they chose to worship moloch and Baal 😭 even when he was about to punish them, he’d be like, “alright I’m destroying your city. If you listen to what I say you’ll be spared though”….they did not listen. I deeply understand why he was always flooding and smiting everyone in the Old Testament.

My question is always going to be – they’ve done it for centuries now and God has not come down to smite them.

What’s the saying? Inaction is complicity? Or something like that.

They were incorrigible. No sooner had Moses led them out of captivity in Egypt and gone to communicate with GOD on his mountain, than the people gathered there gold and melted it to form A CALF. Yes, who knows, given enough time they might have sacrificed their children to it. That is why when Moses returned with the Commandments he was furious with them. And these were Yahweh’s chosen descendants from Abraham by the faith shown in Jacob and Issac. Imagine how truly wicked the rest of the people were on Earth who followed demons?

It is interesting that we had a global plague the first time around. And now that the American religious people are worshipping Baal again we’ve started with an ice storm, a bit on the nose..

    9. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ironically, this post and comments are a good example of how easy it is for a pagan cult to form.

Something is proposed with little to no context, insinuating that people need to suffer and are our enemies. Then harming that out group gets support for some made up or ill defined reason. And now we have a self feeding cycle of people saying everyone they don’t like worships moloch and they deserve to die.

It’s actually insane. This isn’t „free thinking“ this is cult behavior forming in real time

    11. Crazy to be living your life by an archaic book that is just telling you to be a good person, while we live in the most technologically advanced age of known human existence and these Church leaders only believe in the almighty dollar.

Read Amos. It’s God condemning the worship of these idols and criticism of the people focused on pleasure who ignore the moral decay

Read the book „Child Sacrifice in Ancient Israel“ by Heath Dewrell. It is a complex subject and later editors of the biblical texts did their best to cover up what happened in earlier times, but it seems that there was no god named Moloch to whom Israelites (and Phoenicians) sacrificed children, rather the type of sacrifice was a „MLK“ sacrifice (ancient Hebrew was written without vowels, only used consonants). There were apparently several types of child sacrifice, done for different reasons in different circumstances. The god to whom the children were sacrificed remains controversial, but there is evidence that it was YHWH himself, not some made-up misunderstood entity „Moloch“.

The story of the ‚binding of Isaac‘ most likely originally did have Abraham sacrifice Isaac to YHWH as commanded, but later redactors, after child sacrifice came to be seen as an abomination, changed the story.

      Before arguing, read the book!

OP conveniently ignoring all the kids molested by the clergy for its entire existence.

Yall the demons have pretended to be Holy IN THE BIBLE. Like the entire period of Israel’s first temple was people pretending to like God while worshipping Baal. Ezekiel famously makes it rain fire on them to prove their hellish ways false. The Baal worshippers cut up their bodies trying to make it rain. Another story to demonstrate that a true and just God would never ask someone to defile their body in worship.

The binding of Issac is literally there to show that God is the right path and that no true and just god would sacrifice a baby. In ancient cultures they worshipped idols and spilt their first child’s blood to gain power.

The fall of the second temple occurs during the Romans after Christ is executed. King Herod was a demon. He beheads John the Baptist because a princesses begs him to. It’s hard not to see the emergence of the Catholic Church as yet another seed burgeoning into something terribly corrupt evil. The Catholics simply repurposed the magics of the Roman pantheon in the Saints. As Romans converted, they still had need for ritual and those same corrupting forces used martyrs to continue the practice of ritual.

It’s really hard not to see America as the 3rd Temple of Israel. Some might argue the Temple is already being destroyed. That the antichrist has already entered the temple and declared himself God.

LOL as if Christianity itself wasn’t co-opted into a way to justify mass murder and subjugation since its inception. Dumbest post I’ve seen in a minute

    17. KamboRambo97 on

Ironically usually people who post shit like this haven’t even been to church in awhile

    18. Yup. People who say the OT God is “cruel” or “mean” need to actually read the text and see just how cruel and evil mankind can be.
