Man our auto industry could use it! This is great if it happens.

America is literally losing it’s best trading partner because of Trump and the republicans. What a major fucking fail.

Can’t read the article, but why would they do that though? Are they expecting tariffs to be less from Canada to the US, Europe, Latin America (if any)?

Do they not build Cadillacs and Teslas in China

For 80 years the Grand Old Republican Elites have been selling off American tech to the Chinese for cheap labor and now they cry foul.

    4. I we could have those EVs here in California. Hopefully the prices are cheap as well, like around $8,000-$14,000.

My 2018 Corolla is still good, but I want an EV that hopefully saves me on gas

If we do end up having more Chinese EVs in Canada, we’ll need a lot of buildings re-done with charging ports for them. And that would take a while.

Unless they use the same chargers as Tesla. I don’t know EVs, I’ll admit.

    6. Good. America said „No car production in Canada.“ This is the best move to use those factories in Ontario and keep the jobs in Canada.

Who the hell wants a American car anyway? No one in my family has bought an American car in 30 years.

    7. See this is what I have been saying for weeks. Any vehicle built in Canada is exempt from the tariffs and its distance to Europe and South America makes shipping easier and quicker.
