Schellenberg was a notorious Canadian drug smuggler who claims he was an innocent tourist despite a massive record of drug offenses, who was attempting to smuggle 500 lbs of meth.
I really enjoyed when conservatives who want the death penalty locally for Canadian drug dealers were going to bat for this guy.
It’s kinda sad I thought this was about the OTHER time they sentenced Canadian citizens to death but hey this is awesome a win is a win. Maybe diplomacy can make a difference if we show the world what Canadian values look like. Good stuff!
Yeah this board is going to cheer on and celebrate citizens being charged for pure politics and their sentences being overturned because we play ball on trade. People wanting this type of shit to happen need a reality check.
